The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) MBBS examination was held on 28th May 2017. Candidates who all participated in the exam are worried about the cut off marks. They all are waiting to see how high the cut off will go this year and if they will be able to make in it or not.The cut off mark is the minimum marks that the candidate must score to qualify for the exam. Those who will not be able to do so will not be eligible for the next round of selection. The exam authority will release the cut off marks along with the result at www.aiimsexams.org.
The official release date of the expected cut off marks has not been declared yet. The exam authority will prepare the cut off mark as per the level of paper, performance of candidate in the exam, reservation seats and total participants. As per the official prospects the minimum qualifying marks for the general category’s candidates are 50%, for OBC it is 45% and for SC/ST candidates it is 40%. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible for the counselling.
AIIMS counselling will Start from July 3rd, 2017 onwards at AIIMS New Delhi. Candidates will be called for the counselling as per their rank in AIIMS MBBS merit list. AIIMS MBBS counselling will be held in three round. Round 1 will start from July 3rd 2017. Round 2 & round 3rd will be held on August 3 & September 4, 2017 respectively. Candidates have to go through the certificate verification process at the start. Candidates should bring their original documents along with them at the time of counselling. Candidates have to fill their choice of college and seats will be allocated to them according to their choice selected and the availability of the seats in that particular college. Once the college is allocated to the candidates, he/she have to report to that particular college at the given time . Candidates can check the full counselling schedule at the official website.
