The Union Public Service Commission IAS preliminary exam was conducted on June 18th 2017. The exam was held in two phase one phase include, paper I and the second phase include paper 2. The questions were of objective types and multiple type questions.The UPSC civil service preliminary paper 1 is of General studies and paper II is of Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). The exam authority will first evaluate the CSAT question paper and will then check the general studies paper of only those candidates who has passed in CSAT test. After the exam now candidates are worried about the cut off marks. They are worried how high the cut off will go. UPSC will release the cut off marks along with the results of the preliminary exam.
Based on the merit list and the cut off marks the candidates will be called for the counselling session. So it is very necessary for the participants to secure the cut off marks and make into the merit list . Failing to do so will makes them ineligible for the further round of recruitment process. The cut off mainly depends on few factors which are as follows-
UPSC has not made any official announcement about the release date of the answer key yet . As per the reports it will be released soon. The exam authority are aware that the candidates are looking for the answer key and they know that after attending the exam, candidates first look for the answer key so that they can check their answers. The answer key will be released at www.upsc.gov.in. Along with the answer key candidates can also find an objection form which is to be submitted only when any candidates find any answer doubtful and wants to challenge with with the proper documents supporting it.
