Every year CBSE successfully conduct the NEET ug exam nationwide so that the candidates can take admission in best government & private medical & Dental colleges across the nation. In order to be eligible for the NEET counselling candidates have to qualify the NEET exam conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of secondary education). The NEET counselling will be done in online mode. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will supervise the NEET counselling for the 15 % all India quota seats for MBBS and BDS colleges.
The NEET counselling has not started yet. CBSE will first announce the results along with the cut off marks. Candidates who have attended the NEET exam can check the results and the cutoff marks at the CBSE official website. The concern authority will then prepared a merit list based on the cut off marks. Various colleges will use these merit list in order to get admission to their organization. CBSE will announce the official date of counselling once the results is declared. NEET counselling procedure includes stages which are as follows-
1- Registration- Candidates first have to register themselves online in order to be eligible for the NEET counselling. Candidates have to fill the details in the required fields. After it is completed candidates will be provided a user ID and password.
2- Choices and Locking- In this the candidates have to choose a college where he/she wish to get admission. Once the candidate is finished with the selection, he/she can lock the college.
3- Round 1- After this the results of the counselling will be declared. Candidates can check the results online . Candidates can check the name of the college allotted to them.The college allotment will depend on the several factors including the choice of college candidate have selected and the rank of the candidates obtain.
4-Reporting to the college- After the declaration of the counselling results, candidates have to report to the allotted college within a particular given time. If candidate failed to report to the college within the given time, his/her seats will be allotted to some other candidate.
